We believe that as a local, independent business, we have a social responsibility to leverage our success and act as a conduit for good. As part of this commitment, we work with local charities who work hard to make Halifax a better place!
Giving back and community support is one of the pillars of PAVIA. Many employees over the years have plunged into the North Atlantic ocean on January 1st in support of the YWCA. We have raised money by running in the Bluenose Marathon. Employees who have worked at caterings have donated their time to deliver left over catering items to local homeless shelters. We have taken part in charity runs for Leave Out Violence and have helped support the IWK Foundation. We have organized fundraising evenings that ranged from an intimate evening with celebrated Canadian Tenor Richard Margison, to an up-and-coming Halifax crooner!
