About the Artist

Born in Wales, Adrian Edwards was educated in the United Kingdom. He has an M.A. in the History of Modern Art & Design, a B.A. In Fine Art and a PGSE. He has had a varied and influential career as An Art Educator and Adjudicator.

Edwards exhibition history ranges from exhibiting throughout the South West of England from Falmouth to the South West Academy of Art in Bristol, and in Germany and Nova Scotia. He has been actively involved in the Arts and has served on the Executive of Visual Arts, Nova Scotia. He currently resides in Cornwall, UK, after spending four years living in Halifax. 

Artist Statement

My current practice is the exploration and recording of nature and human forms using a range of materials. I sometimes work for extended periods through my sketch/note books, frequently revisiting, rearranging and sorting as a means to create finished works.
